Parking Valet Attendant

 

Pay Rate: $14.25 - $15.00 per hour plus cash tip$!

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time

Location: Orlando, FL

Shift & Schedule: All Shifts Available - 8AM-3PM 3PM-10PM

Must Have: 2 Years Drivers License

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Valet Attendants for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. 

 

What we're looking for:*

  • Always cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
  • Park and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
  • Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
  • Help the business by inspecting each vehicle before taking possession and following company guidelines.
  • Impress us all by maintaining the company uniform appearance, cheerfully greeting and thanking guests, resolving issues, and by being an all-around pleasure to be with.
  • Be outside and active most of your day, standing walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • And you may be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects.

Must haves:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Good to haves:

  • Valet parking: 1 year+

Guest Service & Hospitality

  • Greet all guests promptly with a friendly and professional attitude.

  • Open vehicle doors and assist guests with luggage when needed.

  • Provide clear directions, answer guest questions, and offer basic hotel information.

  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.

Vehicle Handling

  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles.

  • Drive carefully and obey all traffic, hotel, and safety regulations.

  • Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas, following the lot layout to maximize space.

  • Protect guest property inside vehicles and ensure nothing is moved unnecessarily.

  • Inspect vehicles for existing damage and note any issues before parking.

Ticketing & Documentation

  • Issue valet tickets accurately to guests and keep the matching ticket secured.

  • Record vehicle details (make, model, color, plate) and parking location.

  • Follow procedures for lost tickets, damaged vehicles, or special requests.

Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate with bell staff, front desk, and security regarding guest arrivals or VIP guests.

  • Communicate clearly on the radio to avoid delays and ensure smooth guest flow.

  • Report any suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or vehicle concerns to management.

Safety & Security

  • Follow all safety protocols, including speed limits, hazard lights, and proper parking techniques.

  • Ensure keys are stored securely and organized at all times.

  • Maintain safe walking paths and traffic flow around the entrance and drive.

Operational Duties

  • Keep the valet stand clean, stocked, and organized.

  • Manage traffic on the front drive to prevent congestion.

  • Assist with overnight parking logs and coordinate with the parking manager as needed.

  • Support special events, peak check-in times, and group arrivals.

Professional Conduct

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.

  • Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when needed.

  • Adhere to company policies and hotel standards for customer service and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License
    Must hold an active, clean driver’s license with the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

  • Clean Driving Record
    No major violations, DUIs, or recent at-fault accidents.

  • Customer Service Skills
    Excellent communication, professional demeanor, and ability to provide a welcoming guest experience.

  • Physical Ability
    Able to run short distances, stand for long periods, lift up to 30–50 lbs., and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Safety Awareness
    Strong understanding of vehicle safety, traffic flow, and guest safety procedures.

  • Time Management
    Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently during busy check-in/check-out periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Valet or Hospitality Experience
    Experience in hotels, parking services, or customer-facing roles is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Luxury Brand Service Standards
    Familiarity with Upscale/AAA/Forbes service expectations is beneficial.

  • Basic Technology Skills
    Ability to use valet systems, handheld devices, ticketing apps, and communication radios.
