EV Charging Coordinator

Salary Range: $80,000 Commensurate with Experience, plus Incentive Bonus Potential

Work Modality: In Office

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Location: Tech Campus - Bellevue, WA

 

The Admin position will be ensuring the operational emails, incoming/outgoing tickets, and documentation for the EV charging team is up to date and organized.

 

They will collaborate with multiple stakeholders throughout a portfolio to assist in creating program standards while supporting the operation needs of the EV Charging team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • 100% support of the ev-charging-team alias 
    • Answering daily emails related to customer support. This includes 
      • Assisting clients with setting up their EV Charging account 
      • Escalating emails related to station errors to the EV Charging Managers and Suppliers 
      • Resolving basic EV charging  questions for users
  • Assignee for all incoming/outgoing EV charging tickets through internal database
    • Answer user support tickets assigned to the EVC team
    • Follow up on active tickets
    • Resolve/Close tickets assigned to the EV charging team 
    • Create ticket requests for operational needs
    • Create ticket/work order for electrical team to service EV stations
  • Upkeep the EVC team’s electrical team tracker 
    • Distribute incoming support emails from station supplier to the electrical tracking sheet 
    • Create + Track tickets for station damages 
  • Ensure Station  Supplier’s open/completed cases are received weekly
  • Support Station supplier technician with troubleshoot issues 
  • Manage distributing/receiving of physical EV charge cards.  This includes physically mailing cards to other vendor suppliers or employees as well as tracking them through the dashboard.
  • Follow up with Managers for a briefing/overview of the goals for the day on a daily basis 
  • Track down vehicle owner information for Parking Enforcement when requested through the dashboard 
  • Research asset history to see if there are any previous station issues
  • Escalate any concerning issues to the EV Charging Program Managers
  • Support station maintenance for the Distributed Offices
  • Update EV landing and etiquette pages with any new or improved information

Ideal Experience:

  • This position is responsible for multiple locations accross their assigned portfolio with oversight for all aspects of the operation, including shuttle fleet management, self-parking, and valet services, as well as overseeing your designated area's teams. The ideal candidate will have previous parking industry experience, with a hospitality focus also being a top assett.
  • Progressive management experience with multi-teams front-line employee oversight
  • Established experience with scheduling and payroll is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business is helpful but not required.

  • You have 3-5 years of proven leadership in the hospitality and/or parking industries.
  • Your operational and financial acumen are outstanding, and you are able to share and coach your leaders in these areas.
  • You use your impeccable conversational and written communication skills to develop lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and staff.
  • You see a challenge as an opportunity and ready to “charge the hill” to lead your team to new heights
  • Your education includes a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in work experience
  • You know your way around a computer and will have no problems with revenue control equipment, payroll systems, or the Microsoft Office suite.

As Area Manager, you will:

  • Provide exemplary leadership and development to your teams.
  • Provide support and guidance to supervisors and managers in handling customer service issues and day-to-day operational needs.   
  • Develop and maintain lasting, mutually productive client relations and attend client meetings.   
  • Review management reports and client statements on a consolidated basis to ensure actual financial results meet both corporate and client budgeted expectations. 
  • Review performance metrics, forecasts, and KPIs, analyze trends, and work with senior managers and/or the corporate office to maximize performance. 
  • Work with both the regional teams and corporate to prepare annual budgets to ensure that a proper plan for the generation of revenues, allocation of staff, and operating expenses are established for the fiscal year.  
  • Perform other tasks as developed and assigned by company management.
