    Propark America is seeking a seasoned HR professional to serve as the Regional Human Resources Director for our West Coast operations. This position provides general administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function, as well as HR technical support to Propark’s western region, consisting of over 1,000 employees in five current states.  Areas of support include: coaching, counseling, mentoring, recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, employee relations, HRIS and applicant tracking support, monthly reporting, union administration, and compliance.

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage employee relations and general HR support including coaching, counseling, and mentoring, progressive discipline, leave of absence inquires, performance management and improvement systems, and general employee/manager inquiries. 
    • Provide administrative HR assistance, to include personnel record keeping, management of all regional HR files, processing payroll changes in payroll system (as necessary), and administrative support on special projects.
    • Support all regional HR audit/compliance/reporting responsibilities and other technical project work as assigned.
    • Manage labor union administration, liaise between the bargaining unit and Propark, assist with monthly reconciliations, and administration of supplemental benefits, as needed and attend any local union negotiations/hearings..
    • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual HCSO reports and provide in correct technical formatting to Company accounting department and OLSE.
    • May assist Benefits Specialist with regional benefits administration to include distributing benefit documentation, reviewing eligibility and ACA compliance, assist with processing online terminations and enrollments, and enter deduction changes into payroll system.
    • Provide HRIS support: assist managers with establishing account credentials, password resets and general troubleshooting.
    • Run regional  reports regarding payroll, time and attendance, employee statistics, etc.
    • Assist managers with  the region’s Applicant Tracking System: post jobs in correct technical form, ensure each applicant is accurately tracked throughout the recruitment workflow, train hiring managers on system, troubleshoot regional issues.
    • Assist managers with conducting interviews and the post-hire employment process, to include providing required new hire documents and reviewing paperwork to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Work with regional account managers to ensure company compliance with federal requirements in the areas of EEO, OSHA, FLSA, NLRB, DOL, AAP in terms of posting, policy, reporting and secured filing.
    • Work closely with the Corporate HR Director in drafting/communicating changes to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

     Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • May be asked to be involved with the location openings and closings.
    • May assist with updating HR/Payroll portal and company intranet with regional forms, and announcements. 
    • Other special projects as assigned by Corporate Human Resources Director and/or Regional Vice President.

    Minimum Job Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience direct and varied HR experience required. 
    • Strong experience working with HRIS systems (preferably ADP or Kronos) and applicant tracking systems (iCims).
    • Excellent computer skills including fluency in Microsoft Office Products, with strong concentration in Excel.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies and standards.
    • Exhibit a high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze key performance indicators for region and identify HR trends.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
    • Superior customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

     

    Performance Standards

    This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor to discuss actual performance as compared to company stated expectations and agreed upon job related performance goals for the upcoming year.
