    Job Title:            Full Time Payroll Specialist

    Location:            Hartford, CT

    Compensation:  Commensurate with Experience; Full Benefits

     

    Propark America is currently seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional with extensive experience processing payroll in ADP Workforce Now within a multi-company environment of 1,500-3,000 employees. This position will report to the Senior Payroll Manager

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assist with processing payroll for all company codes on a weekly and bi-weekly basis according to established deadlines.
    • Process manual checks, including legal/audit settlements.
    • Process FedEx shipments for all manual checks.
    • Enter direct deposit requests.
    • Process manual payroll entries.
    • Calculate, maintain and process PTO payouts as needed.
    • Enter, maintain and update employee payroll records and data including timeclock assignments for call-in and mobile applications.
    • Calculate and enter retroactive payroll as needed.
    • Assist with employee communication including responding to phone and email information requests.
    • Enter employee wage garnishments, as needed.
    • Reconcile monthly union invoices and process corresponding payroll reports.
    • Assist in preparing payroll reports as required for audits and regulatory compliance.
    • Assist in benefit-related payroll projects, withholdings and reporting.

    Qualifications include but are not limited to:

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data.
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-company environment.
    • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office.
    • 3 years + payroll experience preferred.
