    Immediate Opening:  Hotel Valet Attendants

    Location:                     Queens, NY

    Compensation:           $13.00/hour; Full Time; Full Benefits

                                        Night and Weekend Shifts

    Join us!  We have an immediate need to employ motivated and Experienced Valet Attendants to provide excellent customer service to our hotel client’s most important customers.  There are two openings for overnight shifts.


    Position Summary

    Our Valet Attendants deliver the highest standards of customer service with each customer transaction by driving, parking, and/or retrieving customer vehicles in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Ability to work overnight and weekends
    • Create exceptionally positive first and last impressions for each arriving and departing guest
    • Open doors for guests
    • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
    • Wear the required uniform
    • Utilize an excellent command of the English language
    • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
    • Collect and disperse parking tickets
    • Efficiently and safely park and retrieve guest vehicles
    • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
    • Position self in designated areas with proper posture and form when not completing tasks


    Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.
    • Other special projects as assigned by location management



    Minimum Job Qualifications

    • Previous valet experience preferred.
    • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
    • Ability to work overnight and on weekends.
    • Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
    • Ability to park cars in tight spaces.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and quickly move to and from vehicle parking areas.
    • Work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays in all weather conditions.
    • Must have had a valid DMV- driver's license for a minimum of 5 years.
    • A motor vehicle driving record from the DMV is required.
    • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Must maintain a neat and clean appearance in adherence to company standards at all times.

    Physical Demands: the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.


    Work Environment: the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
